JACKS LAW 01 - KADENCE - DAY TRIPPIN'
The first release on the new Jacks Law label is from Kadence. Now it's not just any old first release, Kadence are a 7-piece band that perform live & have already been tipped to be bigger than Hybrid. (No mean feat you'll agree but if you knew who had made this comment you'd understand the style that this band oozes.)
Now an act that plays live, is hardly the place for a digital only record label. But the management at Jack Digitals believes so heavily in Kadence they had to rethink their direction. Out of this was Born Jacks Law
Jacks law is Simple:- 'Not everything in life has to be digital'
And thank god for that law, without it we wouldn't be here now presenting to you one of the finest tracks ever created. This is a specially commissioned Dj friendly version solely for you guys. Right now Kadence are working on converting the rest of their album for Dj use.
Daytrippin' Think Hybrid meets Infusion, and you might be getting somewhere. It's a dark pulsating cross of heavy bass, and heavily effected synths, which combine to create a completely original sound. A truly unique vocal sits perfectly over meticulously crafted beats; it's definitely one for your cases now. This masterpiece of a track has a distinctive and unique sound which is all their own. For a Dj, it fits on any underground dance floor, but better yet, imagine when they perform it live!
REVIEW IN M8 - 'A seven-piece live breaks band launching a brand new label, what kind of crazy ass business is this - these guys must be mad! Well, in all truth, the man behind the label quite probably is but this act are already drawing comparisons to Hybrid (oooh dangerous water guys...). Well, if this is the first thing to go by, they look set to be on the right track for an interesting career. With big drums, vocals, electric geetar and some superb bass, this scribe thinks Kadence could possibly have been classed as Kosheen meets the Prodigy. I suggest you try it, you might like it. You'll no doubt be hearing more of these guys, not only in the clubs but live at a festival near you soon.' M7/M8
This is high quality clobber for sure - full of detail, with an exacting production & some exciting ideas in there. I'll definitely give this a spin to see how it works on the frontline. Not feeling the AA as much. - ELITE FORCE
